Scenario-Based Training

Taking the final step to the rewarding, but challenging career is closer than ever.  Now that you have completed most of your training, it is time to gain mastery of your skills. At Pacific Northwest Aeronautics our instructors act as mentors to our students providing guidance, adequate training, and a deep understanding of the F.A.Rs.  We strive to ensure  that the next generation of commercial pilots are able to navigate the ever changing industry of commercial aviation with utter confidence.

20 Day Accelerated Commercial Pilot Training

The Accelerated Commercial Program is designed to expedite the training with a thorough syllabus centered on efficiency and quality!

Referencing the Federal Aviation Regulations (F.A.Rs) we find the following the:

Part 61 Subpart F:

  • Eligibility Requirements:
    •  Be at least 18 years of age
    • Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
    •  Receive a logbook endorsement from an authorized instructor
    • Pass the required knowledge test
    • Receive the required training and a logbook endorsement from an authorized instructor
    • Meet the aeronautical experience requirements 
    • Pass the required practical test
    • Hold at least a private pilot certificate
  • Aeronautical Experience:
    • For an airplane single-engine rating 
      • Must log at least 250 hours of flight time as a pilot
      • 100 hours in powered aircraft, of which 50 hours must be in airplanes
      • 100 hours of pilot-in-command flight time
      • 10 hours of instrument training using a view-limiting device
      • 10 hours of training in a complex airplane, a turbine-powered airplane, or a technically advanced airplane (TAA) 
      • 10 hours of solo flight time in a single engine airplane or 10 hours of flight time performing the duties of pilot in command in a single engine airplane with an authorized instructor on board
      • 5 hours in night VFR conditions
